David Christian is the Founder and CEO of Cirrus Nine, LLC. Cirrus Nine is the second technology company Dave has (co-)founded, and is also his second commercial open-source effort and his second Software as a Service effort. With twenty years of experience in the Enterprise Software space and with experience in over seeing software development projects large and small. He has over seen the development a proprietary portal/content management software solutions and led a team that developed open source based enterprise search Software as a Service solution. An open source advocate who straddles the business and technology spheres; he facilitates communications amongst a broad array of professionals from technical, managerial and application users to achieve productive collaboration on software deployment projects. He has a wide ranging knowledge of operating systems, virtualization technologies, cloud services, web servers, application servers, relational databases, web services and browsers and web 2.0 technologies utilized to develop applications are fully cross-platform capable. He also has demonstrated expertise in harmonizing development and deployment requirements while maintaining cross-platform flexibility, all the while focusing on user interfaces that not getting in the way of users ability to do their job. He has extensive experienced in managing intellectual property compliance issues when integrating open source with proprietary solutions. |
